Two keys have to be fitted only at the top of the car stereo. One is inserted between top of Audi A4 stereo and housing which is present at one inch from the corner in left direction . The other one between Audi A4 stereo and housing which is present one inch from the corner in right direction. In the same way it is done for other two keys at the bottom of car stereo.
There are clips present in the stereo which holds them firmly in place. Detachment of these clips is essential for removal of car stereo. We should understand how this can be done. This is the most important step. The keys have handles. These handles must be pushed such that they are facing the radio outward. The keys that were inserted on the left side should be moved away to the left side and right side keys must be moved away in right direction. In this way the clips are released easily.
The fifth step involves pulling out the removal keys. As stereo is attached with it , it will also come along while being pulled. Few may have to try a couple of times before they can get the job right as sometimes detachment of clips may not happen first time. However subsequently the clips are released to set the stereo free from attachment . In the last step try to pull the harness of wiring of car stereo after removing the connection of harness.
