my computor is in a endless reboot loop?

well i was surfing the web and my internet security said my computor was infected with a virus. i tried to fix it but i didnt work. i was also infected with a worm.i reebooted my computor and now its in a endless reboot loop.it reboots at the same place every time ( right after the windows xp thing is done loading… what can i do to fix this … sorry if this aint clear

It would be helpful if you let us know what you are/were infected with; what security solution you are using; and whether you are receiving an error message before the computer reboots.

You can attempt to boot into safe mode and choose “last known good configuration” but if some malware has mucked things up and/or worse if you have chosen the wrong action to correct the problem then you may have to boot into a windows cd and repair your system.

If you are not comfortable with performing technical troubleshooting on your computer I would advise you to find a reliable and qualified technician before you muck things up to the point of irreversible damage (if you are not there already).
